Hard Candy Fox in a Box Review and Swatches: Party Girl

Today I'm so excited to talk about a new product from Hard Candy. I think the Fox in a Box powders are strongly inspired by Benefit’s Boxed Blushes, as well as Hourglass’ powders.

For perspective, a  full size of Benefit box blush costs $29, but the amount of product in each varies drastically. Rockateur and GALifornia only contain 5g, while Coralista contains 8g.

Hourglass Ambient Light powder contains 10 g, and costs $46.00. Damn.

Hard Candy’s Fox in a Box contains 5g of product, and costs $7.00.

I know I'm on a low-buy, but this is just the sort of product that gets me excited. It's innovative, it is a drugstore dupe  for higher-end, as well as high-quality.

Hard Candy Fox in a Box powders are not new, per se. This is a relaunch, but I'm not sure what the original shades were. The shade that I picked up is Party Girl which is marbleized baked bronzer.

There are other shades in the collection, which include blushes and highlighters, but since I recently used up a  bronzer, I thought that that would be the best choice for me.

As you will be able to see from my swatches, Party Girl is a rose-toned bronzer. . I feel as though I'll probably get away with using it as a blush,  too. It's got a satiny, almost shimmery finish, and does not come off as glittery.

The powder also smells like chocolate. It is incredibly soft and very blendable. At first, it reminded reminded me a little bit of the Nyx baked blushes and bronzers, which concerned me because those had very weak pigmentation. On first swipe, Party Girl seemed a little sheer, but I found that it builds up easily, and doesn't budge.  When I tried to rub off the swatch with clean fingers, the color barely faded.

Overall, I'm really pleased to have Party Girl in my collection. The only downside of this product is that the brush it comes with is pretty much useless. I tried to apply the product with it, and it started shedding immediately. You are better off  using your own brushes.

So, if you're ever in Walmart and in need of an affordable bronzer, highlight or blush,  I would highly encourage Hardy Candy’s Fox in a Box.

Designing My Own Palette: The Private Eye Shadow Palette

As part of her giveaway, the YouTuber Angelica Nyqvist posed an interesting question to her subscribers: What color scheme would you use if you got to create a palette?

I really enjoy theme palettes, and don't necessarily believe in just one being the all-encompassing palette, because I know that I would still get bored and overwhelmed with my options. With that in mind, I've designed a 9-Pan Palette inspired by some of my favorite genres. I will try to use what I have in my collection to approximate this palette, but I will also comment on how I would tweak these colors. Some, frankly, I just don't have in my collection, so I'll just provide possible options out there.

Because I like to arrange my colors in order, from light to dark, this is how it's going to go, from right to left:

1. Trenchcoat: A yellow-toned light camel matte. A boring color, I know, but something to lighten the eye and use as a base. Trenchcoats are iconic to the genre, and I think it's an interesting idea to use the concept of outerwear as a base on the eye.

2. One More Thing: A warm matte mid-toned brown. I am thinking of Fudge from ABH, just a bit less pigmented and softer in formula so it would be easier to blend. Fudge is not easy to blend. This shade is inspired by the hair and eye color of one of my favorite fictional detectives, Lt. Columbo.

3. Splatter. This name is so gross lol. Of course, it's named after a key piece of evidence- blood splatter. When I think of this, I think of CSI. In my own collection, one of the reds from the Modern Renaissance palette would work here.

4. Case Closed: A cool gold metallic. Like really intense. Named after a medal that one would get after solving a case. There is one really cool yellow gold matte in my collection, in the Maybelline Shayla Palette. It's the only reason I am still holding on to it.

5. These Streets: Named after those shots of glimmering reflective roads, streets, and city lights. I am talking about a duochrome that reflects green and yellow, with a brown base. I don't have anything like that in my collection, except for a Fyrinnae shade called Mythical Dalliance, but it does not have much of a base. It is more like glitter.

6. Fidelity: One has fidelity in multiple ways, with significant others, or by staying on the right path in life or with a job. This concept is always brought up in these shows, so I have chosen a duochrome shimmer: grey-pink, a very soft, but ambiguous color, to capture this idea.

7. Interrogate: I am torn on this one. Either it is a orange-gold duochrome, or a yellow matte. I can't decide!

8. Alibi: A warm purple/magenta matte shade.

9. Midnight Oil. Do these people ever sleep? A navy-purple matte. I have nothing like this in my collection.

Trenchoat, Just One More Thing, Splatter, Case Closed

These Streets (in my ideal palette, this color would have a brown base, with a stronger green-yellow-pink shift), Fidelity (again, my ideal would be a lot more pigmented, with a stronger and darker grey-pink shift), and then our two Interrogation options. Honestly, I am veering towards the yellow matte.

Finally, Alibi is a mix of two colors- an Inglot Violet matte, and the magenta Ladyship from the Queen of Hearts palette. This is pretty ideal.

Last, Midnight Oil would be a lot richer than this. To approximate the color, I mixed the only blue in the Elf Jewel Pop palette with the matte black. And it certainly looks like it.

I feel like my swatches don't convey accurately the amount of green I want in my palette- I want more. I think I'll keep playing with this idea over time.

Another palette theme I want to design? Romance novels.....lol.

Thanks for reading!

TMO: Becca Ocean Jewels

Now, I thought I would do a quick TMO not because I really am trying to stave off the urge to buy this palette. On the contrary. I wanted to do a write-up on this palette because it has become pretty clear that Becca does not know what it wants to do with eye palettes.

I mean, first the Jaclyn Hill scandal, then the Apres Ski stupidity, and now we get....the Ocean Jewels palette.

Hm.

It looks like this:

Wow. Ocean Jewels, huh? So a ton of browns, that's pretty evocative of the ocean....

So let's do a quick run-down of what this palette copped from.

  1. The Rainforest of the Sea palettes, Tarte. The originators of interpreting Ocean themes as light brown neutrals. Yay.
  2. Huda Desert Dusk palette, specifically the Twilight shade. Not an uncommon duochrome, but still very recognizable, and associated with that palete.
  3. The Huda Desert Dusk palette in Retrograde, or Colourpop Glass Bull. Or Coastal Scents Cherry Moss....you know, that very common blue-green duochrome pigment.
The other shadows are a shimmery taupe, a shimmery gold, a shimmery white, and a cream matte and a cream brown.

Becca is really out here struggling with eye palettes. I predict this will be released and then discounted very quickly.

Don't buy it, people. Just don't.

EoTD: Green Matte Eyeshadow

Recent eyeshadow trends have made me a bit bolder, and for the longest time I have been after green matte eyeshadow.

After a lot of searching, I decided to buy a single from Ingot, matte number 331/

Let me show you the end product, and I'll talk about how I got there:

After I primed my eyes, I used the cream shade from the elf Jewel Pop palette to set my browbone and crease. Then, I took a shade from Coloured Raine (Heir from Queen of Hearts palette) and blended it upwards from the crease.

I then took the Mustard shade from the Jewel Pop palette and blended it in the crease a bit, but not too much.

After, I took the Milk crayon by Nyx and patted it on the lid. After that, I packed and blended the green matte on my lid, careful not to bring it to the inner corner. I am not sure why I did that, but I was not sure how it would look if it was just this intense green all over my lid.

After that, I took the Mustard again and blended it through.

Finally, using the Queen of Hearts palette again, I used the shade Royal Prerogative, to blend out the outercorner.

On the inner corner, I patted the shade Otherworldly from the Milani highlighting beams palette.

Overall, I really enjoyed this look and happy to see that color can be used in a pretty way.

Swatches of the color palette used can be found below!

From top to bottom, Otherworldly, Royal Prerogative, Inglot Matte 331, Jewel Pop Mustard, Heir, Jewel Pop Cream

Mini Drugstore Haul and Anti-Haul

What I did buy:

  • Elf Active waterproof eyeliner ($4.00)
  • Elf Active Sheer Tint SPF 50 thing ($10.00)
  • Hard Candy Lipstick in Nudist ($5.00)

What I did not buy:

  • Elf Gel Eyeshadow Palette in Island Breeze ($12)
    • I've been looking at this for a long time. But there are no reviews out there on it, except middling ones. I have pretty much all the colors, except for that chartreuse shimmer, but I would not wear that anyway.

  • Hard Candy Eyeshadow Palette- Huda Beauty Rose Gold palette dupe. I think this is brand new, because it is not even on their website yet. Maybe it is a Walmart exclusive.
    • Oh man the shimmers on that looked so good. But I would need to see a review. I am also convinced that I can pretty much dupe the Rose Gold palette, so I know I did not need to buy it.
  • Hard Candy galaxy looking lip plumping gloss thing
    • As pretty and purple and shimmery as this looked, I hate lip plumping products.
  • One of the new Milani palettes ($15.00)
    • I forgot to cover this on my anti-haul post! A bit too expensive for my liking, and I am sure I can dupe it all, even though the matte one looks really nice.
  • Physician's Formula new line of Foundations ($14.00)
    • I know I need to buy a new foundation soon, but I just could not be convinced with this price tag.
  • Wet 'n Wild Cushion Foundations
    • The lightest color was too warm-toned.
  • Wet 'n Wild new eyeshadow quints and palettes
    • I already have Not a Basic Peach, and unfortunately I have not heard good things about the quality of a lot of them, especially the quints.

🔥You Know What It Is: Massive Anti-Haul time!!🔥

This is one of my favorite features to do for this blog, but it does take a lot of energy. I used to need that energy in the past, because if I did not use it for anti-hauling, I'd use it for actually buying crap. But now that I've grown a bit, the urgency to do this is not as intense. But still. I'm here, I'm ready, and we're going to do this.

I am not going to buy:

1. The Smashbox Trios, $22.0

First of all, that price for a trio is ridiculous. Second the quality looks mighty dubious. I can see why trios look really convenient, but honestly I never felt like I wanted to support the brand. Their eyeshadows are all over discount stores, and I really feel like not many people are too interested. Furthermore, they've been selling trios for a long time, so this really is nothing new.

2. The Beauty Creations Frozen palettes, $13.49

Okay, so the Olivia palette is out of stock, and I can't even find the Elsa palette. First off, let me say that I never got into Frozen. I've never seen it, and I don't think I've watched a Disney princess movie for a while now. So I don't think I am the target audience for this. For what it's worth, I thought both looked interesting on Instagram, but not interesting enough for me to want to buy it. A lot of repeating colors bothered me.

You know what else bothered me? The picture of what the palette actually looks like on their website:
I mean, that is a washed out pic. And the pans look so unevenly placed and crooked. It just looks bad and poorly made.  It's an easy pass.

3. The Sephora Pro Pigment Palette, $20
I'll start by saying I really think the price for this is very reasonable. I know I don't wear these colors, and I know people reading or watching anti-hauls get frustrated when a person passes on something simply because they don't wear those colors. But hear me out. For me, it used to be that even if I did not wear the colors, I still would buy something because the price was reasonable and I thought I could convince myself. But it never happened. I ended up wasting my money. This palette is very specific, because it is for a specific demographic with a specific preference. If this was more muted and not neon, I'd be feeling it. But I am not. I am interested, though, in seeing whether or not Sephora releases more.

4. Christen Dominique Palette, $42
Okay I am super excited to anti-haul this one, for a whole host of petty and non-petty reasons. I'll start by saying that I am only familiar with Christen from her Ipsy days. I don't follow her or watch her videos.

Strike one is that her website is impossible to find. You need to go through her link from instagram. If you google "Christen Dominique palette" nothing comes up. That's strange, and makes me wonder who is (or isn't) backing the brand.

When you get there, you find out the her brand is named Dominique Cosmetics, and all her products are stamped with the DC logo, which I find suspiciously similar to the Dose of Colors stylizing.  I mean, why not do CDC? It's a palindrome, and a little more luxe (I said I was going to be petty).

Okay, let's look at this palette:
As of now it's sold out. Whatever. It's going to be back. The thing is, the palette quite transparently adheres to the time-honored tradition of convincing you it is unique by literally throwing in two shades that are "pops of color" that everyone is just going to use in the waterline. I can almost hear Emily Noel saying it. I would love to see people take that blue, use it all over the lid, and then blow it out with that orange-brown. Not going to happen. If I had that palette, I wouldn't even do it.

Take away the blue and purple. You are left with a palette of brown and taupe tones that are everywhere- Colour Pop, ABH, even Wet 'n Wild. So is it worth it? For two colors? For $42? Hell no. And what annoys me most is that it cost extra for the useless imprint of the logo on EACH eyeshadow pan? How much are consumers paying extra for that "feature"? Could they have been paying $35  instead? Maybe? The world will never know.

5. The Blush Duos from Jouer Cosmetics, $30.00
Speaking of poor brand-name/logo choices, check out these blush duos from Jouer cosmetics, a brand I am convinced is the same as Julep.
Again, useless cost from the imprint. We don't care about that. And two. Wasn't the brand called Jouer Cosmetics? And yet the logo is C...J...? As in Cosmetics Jouer? Why??? Why would you reverse the name of the brand just so you get a nifty little design? You couldn't come up with another design that actually makes sense?

Each pan is $15. The two colors up there look identical. I quit.

6. The Milani Eyeshadow Palettes, $20

7. The Blue Honey Palette, $38.00
Why are people hyping this? Is it truly that interesting?
It's a simple palette that integrates color that I know looks appealing. But the couple of stand-outs- the gold shimmer, the mustard matte, the blue-green matte, and the blue shimmer, can certainly be found elsewhere, and for far cheaper. This is like the Yes, Please palette with pops of green-blue. I think the price is certainly too high, and if I was truly inspired, I'd just buy a single from Inglot or something.

8. The Karity Posh Palette, $27 also currently sold out.
I've never bought a palette from Karity before. But I see the appeal in this palette. Aside from the varying pan sizes, which I don't like. This palette looks like a cheaper alternative to Huda's palettes. But you don't have to buy either of them. Again, for the couple pops of color, consider the rest of it- which is pretty common place. Buy a single!!

So that's it folks. This current round of products had potential, but just didn't cut it for me.

Thanks for reading!!

Best and Worst of the Week

I thought I would make a new feature of a weekly reflection of makeup trends for the entire week, and condense it into a best and worst list.

Best:

The Maybelline Total Lash Temptation, washable. This is a really great mascara for stubborn lashes, with a nice smell and mousse-like formula. I used it all week and really enjoyed it!

Makeup Revolution Blush in Puppy Love. I used this two or three days this week, but I needed to mix it with another blush because by itself it basically is an eyeshadow, as it is so pigmented. It's not the easiest blush to use, but it does last the whole day.

The Carli Bybel Deluxe Palette. It frustrates me that this palette could be better, because it has a lot going for it already. But it is so light-toned and has way too much highlighter. I hope Carli Bybel releases at least one more palette with BH Cosmetics (do it!!!!) that is only eyeshadow and has a greater range of colors. Carli Bybel has a great eye for color and trends, and I've found I've been able to dupe a lot of current releases with her palette. So please, keep going.  Anyway, I used this a lot this week, and I love how easy of a palette it is to use. I anticipate panning this one pretty easily.

Origins Matte Moisturizer. I've talked about this before. I don't know what I am going to do when I complete the sample. I have no desire to buy the full size, and I already own face creams. Maybe when I am out of everything I'll get the full size. But I've been really loving it.

Khiel's Ultra Facial Cream. Another winner. Another super expensive face cream. This was a pretty great sample variety. But again, I am not about to buy the full size.

This is a Product that I also have been enjoying at night- a steam mask for your eyes. It's from the brand Kao MegaRhythm, and I bought the fragrance free version. It is quite relaxing.

Worst of the Week

Milani Coral Cove Blush. So....em...for the first time did I really get annoyed with this blush disappearing on my face by the end of the day. I like the color- it is quite a glowy orangey-pink, but unless I start bringing it to work to reapply, the lasting time is non-existant.

Jessica Simpson Fancy Body Spray. Going into fragrance land is going into subjective territory. But I really was not happy with this. It was not a huge loss- five dollars, but the reason I think I did not enjoy it was because it smelled like Heavenly Stardust, but not quite. And the "not quite" part is what throws me off.

And finally, things I have to keep trying to develop an opinion on:
1. Kiko Milano eyeshadow single in Champagne
2. Clinique Pansy Pop blush

FoTD in Review: January 24 (text)

Hello!

Let's go through today's look, and my thoughts about it!

Eyes:
  • Mac Paint Pot in Painterly. I've been enjoying this a lot more than I thought I would. The only problem is that it does crease a little for me after the day is over, but then again I don't wear it on top of primer. Perhaps I should start!
  • Carli Bybel Palette Deluxe: I used the cream shade to set my browbone and crease, and then the matte light purple as a wash over the crease and a bit on the lid. Very easy to work with palette. I do think it suffers from an excess of highlighters/shimmers, and I still agree with my earlier assessment that personally, I would have loved if that bit got chopped off.
  • Kiko Milano Eyeshadow in Champagne:
    • Hmmmm..I have been really pining over this one for quite some time. And reviews were good, according to my research. But at this point, I'm not really blown away. I'll try again tomorrow, with a different base.
  • Modern Renaissance Palette, Venetian Red. This was blended a bit in the outer corner, and I've been really pleased with the way it turned out- not garish or sickly.
  • Physician's Formula Eye Booster: The only eyeliner I really am loyal to.
  • Maybelline Total Temptation Mascara: I've been really enjoying this mascara. I don't think it does too good of a job with lengthening, but my lashes have been really difficult lately and this works with them so I am not complaining. I also really enjoy the smell of the mascara- like lotion.
Face:
  • Origins Original Skin Matte Moisturizer (sample). So. A full size of this is $34.....After a full day of using this under my makeup, I have no complaints. My face was matte and did not feel greasy.
  • Maybelline Better Skin Concealer. The only drugstore concealer I like.
  • The Ordinary Serum Foundation. Almost out of this! No clue if I am going to repurchase. I really like how light of a formula it is.
  • Wet 'n Wild highlighter, from Fair Trade Coffee Trio. I've talked about this one a couple of times. Though it swatches nicely and applies on the face v. prettily, it does not last. By the end of the day, it was gone from my face.
  • Physician's Formula Butter Bronzer. I've nearly used this up. Not going to repurchase, only because I have other bronzers in my collection. I don't feel like it's that great longevity-wise, but the packaging is so terrible you couldn't bring it with you for reapplication. Unless you pack it in bubble wrap.
  • Milani Blush in Coral Cove . Yeah..same complaints as the WnW highlighter. By the end of the day, gone from my face.
  • Life's Entropy Contour Stick
Lips:
  • Vaseline Lip Therapy . Best lip balm- hands down.

Hair:
  • L'Oreal Thickening Shampoo. I did notice increased volume of my hair after using it. Very pleased.
  • Carol's Daughter Combing Creme. This smells so good. I might have over-used it, but I thought today was a good hair day, so at this point I approve.

Blog Updates

Hello, internet! I've been a little silent over here when it comes to blog updates- but I have been feeling a little uninspired lately....not with my own makeup necessarily, but keeping up with the constant flow of releases is kind of exhausting. Perhaps that's what Trendmood sold her soul for.

All jokes aside, a couple of things I wanted to put on the docket for this week:

1. At least one EoTD, using a non-neutral color.
2. TMO of upcoming releases. As a sidenote, I love writing TMO's. The way I keep track of all the things I want to talk about is by bookmarking posts through instagram, and I've amassed quite a bit.
3. A review of the Kiko Milano eyeshadow in Champagne- another entry in my cult-status faves reviews.
4. A review of the Zodiac Palette by BH Cosmetics
5. A feature on single shadows that can replace entire palettes.
6. Panning updates and decluttering.

Now, you may read this list and say, "Wait a minute, didn't you anti-haul the BH Palette?" To that, I say, yes. I did. I had a moment of weakness, and the damn thing was on sale. They got me. But I am going to stay positive. I really like BH Cosmetics, and I think they are going further with their company, especially when it comes to their formulation of the matte shadows. I really am  very excited.

TMO: ABH's Soft Glam Palette

Here is the newest addition to ABH's family of palettes, that include Modern Renaissance, Subculture, and maybe Prism? May I introduce you to: Soft Glam.

I have many issues, folks. Like how three of these shadows are from the Modern Renaissance palette. While I will say that for people who have a lot of eyeshadow, this is entirely dupe-able, a realization that is very similar to the general consensus. But I also think there are many people out there who would really like this. Frankly, if I did not have the collectoin I currently do, I could see this as being my usual palette.

However, I still am frustrated that this appears to be such a repetitive palette. It reminds me of a more toned-down version of the Huda Beauty Rose Gold Palette, which is still available on Sephora:
This palette just looks a lot more...fun.

Personally, I know I own this palette because I own

this

this

as well as a z-palette full of other dupes.

Come on, ABH! Get it together!!

EoTD: Pink and Gold, as well as other updates!

Happy Friday!

Today for work I wore an all-matte eyeshadow look, which has kind of been my go-to recently, especially when I am rushed and don't want to fuss with shimmer. As much as I like shimmer, if I don't prime my lids or use glitter glue, I run the risk of it traveling on my eyelids. Matte is a lot more low-maintenance.

I don't have an image for that, but I've done the look before- it is primarily using the Burnt Orange shade from ABH. It's quite funny, because a year ago, I would have said Amber from ABH, a light gold shimmer, would have been my go-to. But I really like Burnt Orange all over my lid, and it is something I  resolved to pan this year.

And guess what!!

I totally did.

After I got home, I wanted to have a bit of fun, so I cleaned off my eyes and started again, with the intent of using one of the more intense shades of the Carli Bybel Deluxe (CBD) palette.

I ended up using a variety of eyeshadows, from other palettes, too. I will list them in order that I used them:

I set my brow bone, crease, and outer corner (not the lid) with this shade from the Carli Bybel palette. As you can see, the product is very soft, because you can see drag marks of the brush.

Then, I blended this peachy matte shade from the WnW Not A Basic Peach palette into the crease. Notice the kick-up. I still really like this shade, though, even if it does take a little bit of building up.

Then, the star of this look- the golden-pink shimmer from the CBD palette. Now, this shimmer is pretty intense on me. It is very pigmented and metallic, but needs a sticky base and to be applied with the finger. This I used on the lid.

Also in my crease I used Burnt Orange from the MR palette. Notice I hit pan!

For the outer corner, another shade from the CBD palette.

And here is the finished look. I forgot to mention, in the inner corner, I also used Primavera from the MR palette, which I am also trying to pan.

Overall, I think this is a kind of pretty look, but I have to say I am not as keen on shimmers as I once was. I really love mattes! I think that is why I bought the following from Inglot:

I am hoping these work out. I've wanted a green matte for the longest time! As well as a perfect toned purple. I also got the pink matte because it seemed to be on the cooler side, and I was inspired by the Too Faced White Peach palette. I am hoping to make some type of dupe post on it.

I've bought eyeshadows from Inglot before, but they were shimmers. One was a purple and of awful quality, and the other is a brass shimmer that I still have. This time around I did a lot more research to make sure that the colors I am getting are actually decent.

In terms of price, Inglot is quite reasonable, at $7.00 per shade.

With these new mattes, I know I should probably do some declutter soon on my large z-palette, to make room for these shadows, which I am confident I will actually get a lot of use out of. Paired with the products that I have, this trio is quite inspiring to me!

In terms of products I really regret buying, I ended up hating the Stila Diamond Dust Liquid Eyeshadow. Having textured eyelids, this was horrible. The glitter was like shards and very uncomfortable to wear on the eye, and I felt like it settled into the lines on my lids. Not fun, and even more annoying to clean up.

So, that's it! Can't wait to try and review the Inglot shades!

Wet ' n Wild Hello Halo Liquid Highlighter in Halo, Goodbye: Review!

These I spotted by chance in my sort-of local CVS. I decided to go with Halo, Goodbye, a soft warm pink shimmer with hints of blue/silver sheen. It cost $6.00.

My last experience with a liquid highlighter was the Nyx Away We Glow highlighters, in the shade Crystal Glare. I wanted to like that highlighter because it swatched excellently, but I felt it translated poorly on the face.

Let's see if this one fared any differently!

The packaging is nice- a small glass container that feels quite sturdy.

The doe-foot applicator is rather sizable, and makes it easy to spread on the face (if that is the intention? idk)

Without flash, we have the product blended on top, and then heavily swatched on the bottom.

With flash.

More pictures!

For this I only applied a couple of dots, and then blended in with a brush. The brush seemed to only enhance the shimmer and ended up looking a little too intense, so I blended the rest in with my finger. I am wearing this on top of concealer and foundation.

Another photo, without flash.

The formula blends in easy on the skin, and is rather dry and powdery for a liquid, but I find this to be a positive, as it doesn't strip the face of makeup, nor does it just blend in, as the Nyx Away We Glow highlighters did. There is a slight smell to the product, but it fades immediately and is typical of other makeup products that do not have added fragrance.

Though I do have naturally textured skin, a thin layer of this highlighter does not emphasize anything. In fact, it does give the face a healthy glow.

I tend to use more liquid products during the winter, because my face is drier and I like to feel moisturized. This product is especially helpful because it also does not fade quickly on the skin- it sticks around. It blends easily, but also does "set."

I am so excited to continue using this product, and think that Wet 'n Wild definitely has a winner on its hands. These products seem to recall other products from higher-end brands, like Cover FX, but I feel that Wet 'n Wild is exemplary because it sets out to excel on its own terms.
